Born 1946, London. Studied at Hammersmith College of Art and Design, 1965-1966 and Ravensbourne College of Art and Design, 1966-1969. He received a Scholarship to Japan, Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, in 1978 and the Project Award, from the Gulbenkien Foundation in 1988. He has exhibited extensively throughout Britain and USA and is in numerous private and public collections. His first solo exhibition at Jill George Gallery was in 1984 and has shown regularly with the Gallery in Art Fairs in this country and Internationally. In 1991 Howard was commissioned to design the sign for Bethnal Green Museum of Childhood.
